If you are thinking of a serial mouse because you want 3 buttons, you can
use a 3-button Atari/Amiga mouse. I have a Golden Image 3-button optical
mouse (Atari/Amiga switchable). The only minor snag was that the lead
supplied didn't connect the middle button - I made up a lead with everything
connected and now it's fine.

Wizard Developments also make a 3-button Atari/Amiga mouse.

If that's not what you were thinking of, oh well!
