Hi,

Some of you may be interested to know that I've written a driver (or
rather, modified the existing driver and added the required bits of
code) for a 3U VME-bus LANCE ethernet card that's actually
commercially available at this time.

As soon as I actually get the card so I can test and debug the driver,
I'll release details on the card (and of course the code to support
it). I ordered the card a few days ago and it should arrive within
the next couple of weeks.

Don't get too excited though:

- the card is a real pain in the ass, and for all I know I may not
actually be able to make it work.

- the card is extremely expensive (about US $1000) so this is only for
those of you who are serious about your Atari...

Cheers,
entropy
