	Before anybody is having good times using his favorite sector
editor.....

I don't think this is workable for a major release. What I'm going todo
is generate a new kernel that omits the checks. Although this is definitely
not what we want on the long run, it is a bit better than the current
situation. I'll put this kernel on ftp.netbsd.org this evening. I will
announce it when this is done.

Please try this kernel as soon as possible. Let me know if it works or
if it doesn't. Nov. 24 is awfully close....
