Don`t worry Leo, the fix you suggested (modifying the source) worked
and I am now able to compile my own kernel (I`m posting this from
NetBSD using a Nov 4 sys-snapshot and a Nov 2 fpe-snapshot. Can`t
get much newer than that... :-)

However, when booting with this new kernel I always get a:

checking for core dump...
Segmentation fault - core dumped

It doesn`t seem to affect anything else, but it`s quite annoying, and
besides, getting coredumps while starting up is not something I like...

Any suggestions?
