Could anyone direct me to a HOWTO or FAQ which deals with the above, with 
specific reference to the RISC-PC? A HOWTO which deals with RISC-PC 
specific hardware in general would be appreciated.

I have not found a document which states which /dev/tty?? is the 
appropriate one for the serial port on the RISC-PC. This is for use with 
dial-up modem work. I do get, on boot-up, a message which states that 
/dev/ttyE0 etc have not been configured.
