What architecture are you considering porting to?  I presume an arm based one 
as you mailed this list, if it's not then you might want to try the tech-port 
mailing list, or the list relevant to the cpu you're looking at.

Generally it's more a matter of getting the technical docs on the hardware 
you're considering.  Most source code is available from cvs, details are on 
www.netbsd.org under how to get NetBSD.  (we've still got the sa11x0 port to 
merge in :)
