They didn't forge any addresses.

What they did was send out the spam with "From: Lisa" as the
header. Many of the local mail systems in the world are built to append
@local.dom.ain to anything they get in without an @. Thus, everyone
saw their own zone in final headers.

I've put in some spam filters. Hopefully "Lisa" will not be bothering
us further.
