Hello all,
long time lurker first time poster, blah blah blah...

Anyway, I recently got my hands on a Funai DNARD machine and have been
working on getting it netbooting from an i386 NetBSD machine. It's starting
out OK (finds the kernel, starts booting) but it chokes every time upon
trying to mount root.
what I see is:

boot device: <unknown>
nfs_boot: 'cs0' not found
cannot mount root: error = 6

It then prompts me to enter the root device (only choices: cs0 and halt) the
dump device, and the filesystem type, at which point it loops...

The only thing I see that rings alarms for me is a:
cs0: driver only supports memory mode
message when the cs0 interface is detected by the kernel. I'm not sure what
that refers to and it may or may not be relevant.

I'm running 1.4.2 and using the netbsd_netboot-SHARK kernel from the
binary/kernel dist. The generic kernel barfs right away in OF with a data
abort error.

The only other thing I would mention is that my firmware is fairly old (sep
1997). I'm not about to ask "how do I upgrade my firmware," _that_ has been
covered to death on this list and I can read the archives as well as anyone.
I think I have a firm grasp on how to do it, with one exception: where the
heck do I get the image from? I can't seem to find it on Funai's, Digital's
or FirmWorks' sites.

At any rate, this little machine seems to kick a fair amount of butt, and
I'd love to integrate it into my entertainment system. Any help or
suggestions you might have would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
