The ISC DHCP server supports both DHCP and BOOTP, so it's not a
problem to use it, although the bootptab and /etc/dhcpd.conf file
formats are quite different, so  you'd have to convert.   Somebody on
dhcp-server@isc.org almost certainly has a script lying around that
will do that for you.
