md* entry in etc.arm32/MAKEDEV seems broken, and
I used the following device files:

# ls -l /dev/md*
brw-r-----  1 root  operator  18,   0 Nov 19 00:32 /dev/md0
brw-r-----  1 root  operator  18, 128 Nov 19 00:18 /dev/md0c
brw-r-----  1 root  operator  18,   8 Jan  5  1999 /dev/md1
brw-r-----  1 root  operator  18, 136 Jan  5  1999 /dev/md1c

etc.sun3/MAKEDEV seems correct.
