Hello Again

I have been having many problems with NetBSD on EBSA 285.

I am strongly suspecting that there may be problems with PCI Bus mastering
devices which access system RAM. I have observed problems with ethernet
cards (Intel Etherexpress 82559 and 82558 and using Digital 21140).

I'm using the DEC (now Intel) PCI development backplane. PCI Bus arbitration
is being handled by the backplane as per default.

Are there known problems with this hardware?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
David
