I've just finally uploaded a patch against 1.4 which contains a port of
FreeBSD's ppbus system.

For those who aren't aware, this is a quite neat system that enables many
devices to be connected to a parallel port, including Iomega ZIP drives,
PLIP connections and a few other bits and bobs. It also supports ECP &
EPP stuff as well.

At the moment, the patch only covers CATS machines, but it shouldn't be
too difficult to convert to others. There are also a couple of known
bugs, which are detailed in the README file. The ftp directory:

ftp://zeus.jesus.cam.ac.uk/pub/netbsd/ppbus/

has both the README and the ppbus.patch files.

Cheers,

David.
