Hmmm..., I've made several (daring) configurations for my machine, and all
went OK. Maybe it's because I allways completely remove the old compiler
directory.... furthermore I just updated `config' (and the sources :-))
when building a new 1.4 kernel on 1.3.2, and it all worked OK!
