I'd like to have a go at making my own snapshot. Assuming I download it
all is there anything I should know before I start? Should it all compile
okay without any problems? Do I need to do anything before I start the
process? What do I type in? etc, etc. Will the snapshot, if built correctly
include working shared libs, no ld.so probs and egcs?

Basically what I want is a thick person's guide to making a snapshot.

Any help would be appreciated,
tim
