As I've emailed many times, I've not managed to get a -current kernel
built that works on my CATS. I thought something must be not yet fully
integrated or such like, but I downloaded Todd Whitesel's prebuilt kernel
and sys source tree. Neither the kernel nor kernels built from the source
tree work any better than kernels I build myself.

Harddrives are not recognised by the kernel and therefore I can't
mount filesystems from them. Try as I might, I can't read the messages
before they scroll off the screen. Mark is probably aware of the
history of this machine; it's getting on a bit now, but has an up-to-date
firmware revision, AFAIK. I'll try out on one of the CATS systems I'm
getting tomorrow to see if I get more luck with newer hardware.
