Well, I have 1.1Release of egcs, grabbed from a mirror site last week. And
KDE compiled over the last few days/nights, and was working when I woke up
this morning....

I couldnt get either 2.2.1 or 2.2.3 working, I get core dumps regularly,
but mostly it barfs with syntax errors, now it dies on orb/ior.c, IIRC for
2.2.3, 2.2.1 fails, but I forget why (hey, it was at 2am this morning!)

Anyway, I dont follow your instructions for compiling corba/koffice - make
-f makefile.cvs just chucks up a load of text saying that this will be
removed later, then stops.
