I got the Linux version of Quake II running under NetBSD/i386 usung linux
emulation - that probably isn't very helpfull tho..

It works pretty much out of the box. you have to installit under windows,
grab the relevent *.pak and *.cfg files, copy them across, put them in the
right dir,s and run quake with the software X11 renderer.
