Specifying a mail relay with the DS is probably sufficient.

e.g.

DSmail.isp.net

You'll need to restart sendmail, of course.

I've got it running from a Netware box (Via Pegasus Mail) to the RPC, then
from there
out to the ISP (Demon) - Fine, fair enough.
I've done this by using a $+ in rulset 0, the trouble is, it now thinks
that everything
should be sent through this hole - so an email comes in, then goes
straight back out again -
fun eh !
I've tried DS but to no avail, and I'm still trying (very) a mailertable
and/or aliases setup - still nothing though.
