I also think there is some problem with the build environment in the
19981001 snapshot. I tried building the imap-uw package yesterday and the
resulting binaries dumped core with a wild pc. I rebooted with the August
snapshot (bootable ZIPs are wonderful!) and did a clean build of the package
and it works fine.
