While LessTif is designed to be functionally compatible with Motif they
don't claim it is binary compatible. So s/w should compile identically
with LessTif but a Motif compiled binary may not work with LessTif runtime
libraries.

An article describing the LessTif project was recently posted on the Motif
developer page at http://www.motifzone.com/tmd/tmd.html which you may be
interested in. Another source is the motif ng comp.windows.x.motif

Cheers
