Hi there,

I have just obtained the gateway vol3 CD and am having a little trouble
booting netbsd for the first time. I have used bb_riscbsd application to
set up the partition on the hard-drive etc, uncompressed both kernel and
installer, made the installer disk by misc.flopwrite -t=1440 rpcinst,
attempted to boot from md0a (first time) and all that happens is the
kernel boots, gets to the point

root: <md0a-h .... etc>

entering md0a here and wd1b for the dumps just results in the memory disk
being loaded four times from floppy and a 'panic - cannot mount root' type
error.

What am i doing wrong??!?

cheers,

matt
