I've compiled some of it, I've still got to do the games, graphics and 
network stuff. It takes absolutely ages. There are a couple of bugs in 
the code which need changing for use with NetBSD/RiscBSD but it's nothing 
overly taxing. You just need a spare day to compile and install it. IMHO 
it's worth it in the long run as it's supposed to be much more stable and 
unbuggy.
