I think that bb_riscbsd does support IDEFS, or it's certainly listed in
it.  Try just downloading the archive for it (bootloader.arc or
something similair) And try it and see, you'll obviously need a drive
that has space.

There are some test kernels on:
ftp://ftp.ph.kcl.ac.uk/pub/acorn/RiscBSD/kernels/test

(or something like that) which contain drivers for v5 and v6 of the ICS
interface.
