Dear All,

X refuses to start if I have /dev/mouse pointing to /dev/pms0 instead of
/dev/qms0. Unfortunately, it causes a kernel panic and there's not much
in the way of helpful errors. When I restart there is a brief mention by
savecore of it being because "unable to claim IRQ" or similar. I've tried
redirecting output from startx to a file, but nothing gets written to the
disk before the panic occurs.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
David Forbes.
