Hi,

 I had this problem with an Epson Stylus color II, and someone posted the
solution: you need to alter '/etc/printcap'.

this is how mine looks:

notice that it uses /dev/lpa0 instead of /dev/lpt0.

/dev/lpt0 locks up on my Epson
