It was everything from 1.3 release from ftp.netbsd.org, with,

        /usr/libexec/cc1
        /usr/libexec/cc1plus

from the comp set from your 1.3 alpha CD.

It may well be that,

        /usr/libexec/cc1obj (or whatever it's called)

needs fixing too, but I've never played around with objective C so I've
no
idea whether it works or not.

With these patches I've managed to build shared C and C++ libraries ...
in
particular I've built qt and the kde stuff.
