Yes, I am using the old one, or whatever's supplied with the prebuilt
kernels. I'm a bit puzzled, because Neil's just told me to change back
to vt100 because of poor vt220 support, but I distinctly remember
someone else telling me vt220 works better some time ago!

That can be merged with the main source tree can it? If and when I can
compile a kernel I really want to because of the yukky screen modes
built into the default ones.

I don't know if I'll be much use in bug reporting, being such a novice,
but there are one or two things I've noticed (such as slightly odd
things happening when I interrupt man) which I'll let you know about if
the new one still does it.
