Subject: Configuring ethernet after installation

I'm running the ethernet drivers supplied with 1.3_ALPHA on an Acorn Ether1
card. I've installed the kernel (+ all the sets) without doing the network
configuration (since at the time I didn't have a network card).

Now that everything else is working I would like to configure the network.
Alas, if I run rcm and try option 3 (Network configuration) I get:-

/usr/local/sbin/net_config: 160: Syntax error: "esac" unexpected (expecting
"done")

I've modified, by hand, the files "hosts", "myname", "mygate", "resolve.conf"
and "defaultdomain" in /etc to configure my machine, and I can add my
interface by "ifconfig ie0 <ip address>" and ping machines (by ip address).

My questions are, is there any software for configuring these system files
and/or can anyone point out which files I've missed?
