Well there appear to be problems with that. I tried building the vanilla
2.8.0 sources to a stage 3 compiler and found that the stage 2 compiler
could not actually build the stage 3 without SEGVs whilst compiling
some files etc. In my book that means there are problems that need to be
identified and fixed before I would trust this compiler at all.
