I think this is where your problem lies; and I also think that there's a
nbewer version of pcnfsd out there that does read the config
file---AFAIR the function required to do this was present in the source,
but for some reason wasn't actually called!

Of course as ever I could be wrong, and this may have gone away in a
more recent version of NetBSD...
