Hi....
I got the RiscBSD cdrom the other day and have
been attempting to install it.... I got as far
as step 18 of the installation instructions for
the cdrom and found I couldn't mount my cdrom
drive from Unix... I'm using a Castle Storm DMA32
SCSI II card with a Pioneer CDROM drive.... has
anyone been successful using this drive?

Also when this failed I thought I would try copying
the files to the harddisc via UnixFS, so I setup
a new directory in the /usr partition using "mkdir"
and then set it world read/write... and then halted
the system to return to RiscOS.... but alas the
directory disappeared.... why?? (I had the Ram disk
set to 0k...)

the directory structure appears through unixfs and it
also remains when I reenter riscbsd but any files I
create "echo something > file.txt" just vanish...

any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
Gordon
