I've just been trying to get GNU smalltalk to work and it doesn't seem
to... It crashes with a segmentation fault in the garbage collector (when
garbage collecting compiled in classes, I think). Removing that bit of the
garbage collector and running it under gdb cause a kernel panic.

Has anyone managed to get it working?

Oh, and does anyone know when the 1.3 release be available on the ftp
sites? ftp.ph.kcl.ac.uk doesn't seem to let me on ATM.
