Hi Folks,

I'm still finding my feet with RiscBSD, and have managed to get X11 installed.
I can start X quite happily when logged on as 'root' or 'steve', where steve
is a user in the group 'root' (0).
However, when I issue 'startx' as steve, everything I do under X is attributed
to the user 'root'. For example Xlock requires the 'root' password to unlock.
Can anyone explain this for me?

Finally, a simple question: do any 'file manager' programs exist under X?
I haven't located one yet, but I'm sure there must be somewhere!

Regards,
