I have not finished checking NetBSD-current yet but I don't think that RiscBSD
running on non-PCI hardware is affected at the moment. If you want to be sure
you must check every source file yourself.

I would imagine that the NetBSD core team are probably taking legal advice on
this and will act appropriately before the 1.3 release.

I have been in touch with a lawyer about this issue but I am going to wait for
all the legal wrangling to die down before I comment further on a public list.
I should be in a position to give you an answer within a month.

Chris Demetriou is a very reasonable person so I am sure that this will
eventually all get sorted out (and I hope he will get the credit he deserves).

Anybody who is a client of Causality Limited and wants further information
should get in touch with us through the usual channels. We will probably issue
a press release if we have anything interesting to say on the subject.

Cheers

Rob
