Looking at the responses I've had from the survey so far I see that a few
things aren't clear:

In the section under Console

Multi-byte characters means things like Chinese fonts.

Being able to switch between virtual terminals means switching between multiple
text consoles and does not refer to virtual screens in X.

Dumb console means no full-screen editing under the text console so
non-dumb-console support means you can use editors more advanced than ed.
