Well, on last Weekend I could not find the new stuff on ftp.ph.kcl.ac.uk
/pub/RiscBSD.

The kernels loaded and installed as /netbsd are identical. And No, no patches
installed.  Maybe I should try after my Easter holydays.

I asked all the UNIX Gurus around here (There are lots of them on our local
Packet Radio network, but none with RiscBSD) for a correct setup of /etc/printcap
and mine now seems OK.

But I think the real problem is that the kernels do not recognize my printer(s)
being online while booting.

Yep. I did not think of that, sorry. And the transmission speed from my old A410/1
depends very much on how much other traffic there is on the Packet Radio network.
