port-arm32: MMAP on /dev/mem/

Can someone just confirm that mmap() on /dev/mem works on at least one arm
platform ?  We are trying to perform this on an SA110 platform but to no avail
in that it panics with :

panic: dev_pager_alloc called.

Before we delve into assuming this is a specific SA110 platform  problem I wanted 
to check this has been done on an arm platform of any kind.
