I'm waiting for a CD to become available before I attempt to install RiscBSD,
but in the hope that one might not be too far away, and already having my IDE
bus occupied by a CD-ROM drive and a smallish hard disc, I bought a Cumana
SCSI card at Acorn World.

For once I did a little planning, and went armed with a list of questions to
ask various SCSI card vendors. Now I'm not saying that it would have altered
my decision, but I asked Cumana about the NDA problem, and they told me that
they anticipated lifting the restriction in a matter of a week or two.

Maybe I should have asked for the information in writing.
