Even better, wouldn't anybody like to write a chapter about PPP for the
networking guide please?

Btw, Mark has now put this networking guide which I have reworked in the docs
directory on the ftp site. This contains the stuff written by Jan-Uwe Finck
about Ethernet and a chapter about SLIP by me. General stuff like networking
related config files in /etc and useful commands were derived from input by Jan-
Uwe and Jasper Wallace.

If you find a kind soul who will do all the work for you, you'll still have to
give him some info about the login sequence of your ISP.
