Followng the death of my RiscBSD parition last week, I reinstalled the
1.2-release sets (enough to compile code under RiscBSD). However, every
now and then I get bad block errors. I've never had these before and
would have thought they may be hardware related (bad cable etc.), but I
don't get anything under RiscOS using the other partition on the disc. I
have recently changed to RiscOS3.7 and may have done something whilst
upgrading the OS.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this. Would the Software
revision in the flash chip on the card make a difference?

The partition is on a SCSI-II card, connected to Cumana SCSI-II
controller. Machine is ARM610/RiscOS3.7 with 24Mb+2Mb and an 410Mb IDE disc.

Ben.
