Hi again,

With much effort and a printout from 'du', I have been able to get
Postgres95 running! The process involved much replacement of '#include'
statements to point them at the relevant files. (I had to leave the
references to the dynamic loading functions commented out, but things
still seem to work).

The test scripts supplied all work and produce correct output, but I am
not sufficiently familiar with either Unix admin or Ingres/Postgres
admin to be able to make Postgres work interactively from an 'X'
terminal or the console (we used 'Oracle' at university, but that was
pre-configured).

Apparently postmaster is listening to port '5432'. How do I make it
listen to the keyboard?

If I can test and confirm that all works as it should, I will make the
compiled binaries available!

Regards

Dave Millen.
