I don't think there's any error. It's just something like a bad
frequency (I said *my screen* does not support 16bpp *under X*).
For instance, I can see something when a menu appears, but I can't
read characters or things like that.

X man pages are not found by man, and I thought it was the problem.
I have X11R6.1/bin in my path. Do I need something else?
