Hi
  Ok just to let folks know. A small bug slipped into the xosview set
the permissions of the binary are wrong. I'll put a new version on line soon
but in the mean time if you are having problems running xosview

as root :

chown bin.kmem /usr/X11R6.1/bin/xosview
chmod 2511 /usr/X11R6.1/bin/xosview
