I think this is getting out of proportion. What is needed desperately is an
update of the 'Getting Started' and 'Installing RiscBSD' documents so that they
reflect the current version of the software. Since these documents are going
to be used mostly when your computer has its hood up and its wheels off then
the overriding need is for good *ASCII* versions of these documents. Forget
LaTex, HTML and StrongHelp - you may be reading these things from single-user
RiscBSD mode or even *TYPE commands at the RISC-OS prompt!

If the future for *NetBSD* documentation is SMGL that can be turned into LaTeX,
HTML, StrongHelp or morse code according to taste then that is a Great and Good
Thing and RISCBSD users will doubtless want to get involved. I'm sure such
debates are already ongoing. If this does happen, then presumably appropriate
tools for reading it will appear in furure versions of the base/recommended
sets. However the vast majority of this documentation is *NET*bsd and not
*RISC*bsd specific.

I think it is a great idea to replace the 'man' command with some sort of
decent hypertext browser.
