i2c working on BeagleBone?

Hello,

I'm trying to determine if the i2c bus exposed through P9 pins 19 and 20
on the BeagleBone {Black,Green} ever worked with NetBSD, or if it broke when
the i2c framework moved from arch/arm/omap/ti_iic.c to arch/arm/ti/ti_iic.c
(presumably when FDT became the law of the land).

Would anyone still with the project happen to have firsthand knowledge of,
say, "i2cscan /dev/iic1" doing anything other than returning only ghost devices?

Thanks in advance,
