NetBSD-9.3: Allwinner A20 sata timeout

Hi everybody,

On an Olimex Lime2 board (Allwinner A20 CPU), I’m experiencing device timeout reading (or writing) fsbn on the internal SATA port. After timeout occurs, filesystem may be damaged (lost files, bad superblock, even fsck crash..etc).

I tried multiple disks (2 Samsung SSD 840Pro 500GB, 2 Hitachi HDD 1TB) and multiples cables, without enhancements. I tried disabling NCQ too.

I’m using NetBSD-9.3.

Has anybody experienced this ? Or should the allwinner SATA driver be stable ?

Thank you for your help.

Best,
Jym
