I think I've figured out what's wrong, but not how it happened. When I
try to mount the NetBSD partition on my NetBSD laptop I get "incorrect
super block" and when I mount the EFI partition I get completely
different values from what I thought I was copying onto it. Looks like
I somehow copied the EFI files onto the netbsd partition and clobbered
it. My bad.

I'm going to start over from the beginning. Thanks, guys, for all your
advice and patience.
