Is it a GPT partition? I'd stick the SD in a reader and fsck it from some other machine. I only use Sandisk, never tried EVO, lately the High Endurance ones. B&H Photo or Adorama prices are good, just got 2 128 GB ones for about $60. No problem with any of them in at least a year. Readers wear out (contacts) more than SD cards. You can get extra life from the readers by using the adapters to full size and plugging into the full size socket on the reader. It's mostly what I use lately, have about 6 little machines running.
Apologies if this is malformed, I've been away from the lists a spell and
now trying different email clients to find one that behaves.
I'm trying to boot -current using a generic 32-bit image from invisible.ca
on a Beaglebone Black, and I'm getting a ton of errors after fs expansion.
I suspect that the expansion is clobbering the FAT partition, because on
reboot I get a ton of errors of the form:

Then the cluster errors cascade ending with a panic. I'm new to the BBB so
I bet I'm doing something wrong here, but I am using the current pkgsrc
