Re: about precompiled binaries of pkgsrc for arm64 netbsd
Thanks a lot! I don’t found this repo before, and seem to look the more complete at the moment.
I think all this info must be update and classified correctly to avoid future problems.
In other repos, like Jared and Astr0boy doesn’t compile all packages.
Other question is how was compiled jun repo, and how we can “mirror” it.
I’ll try on next days.

From one noob to another.
I used invisible.ca to download and install my Pinebook image. For "precompiled" packages I used this site: http://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/jun/aarch64/aarch64/2019-06-22/
You can either export PKG_PATH=http://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/jun/aarch64/aarch64/2019-06-22/ then pkg_add -v package_name or, what I do:
pkg_add -v http://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/jun/aarch64/aarch64/2019-06-22/python37
Love the Ian Dury reference.

Hello, I'm installing Netbsd 8 on my pinebook.
I'm using pkgsrc from source because don't exist precompiled binaries
for arm64 on this version. I see lastest binaries was from 6.1.
Why or How we can't get precompiled binaries for arm64? My machine is
too slow and system isn't configured to get all the hardware power to
fast build compilation.
It's a horrible user n00b experience to trying to get a functional
machine with netbsd.
What we need to get this packages right now? Hardware, hosting, housing,
money, beer, drugs, sex, rock'n'roll...? ;(
I'm waiting for your replies.
Thanks in advance for wasting your patiente and time with this n00b user.
