Pinebook video playback

Has anyone been thinking about what we want to do about providing video
playback on the Pinebook ?

Someone has reverse engineered the Allwinner video engine:

The kernel driver provides a V4L interface.

A userspace libva driver calls into V4L to get images to display.

The Linux kernel patches seem to extend V4L a bit, not checked yet how
they match up with the V4L spec.
